TodayPin Privacy Policy
TodayPin is an iOS app that stores todos on your device. It does not send todo data to a developer-operated server, and it does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
1. Personal Information Processed
TodayPin may store the following information on your device to provide app features.

2. Purposes of Processing
TodayPin processes the information above for the following purposes.
- Store and display todos entered by the user by date.
- Show today's remaining todos and next todo in the app, widget, and Live Activity.
- If the user enables Apple Reminders sync, import today's and future incomplete items from the default Reminders list and reflect items added, completed, or deleted in TodayPin back to Apple Reminders.
- Save todos entered through App Shortcuts to TodayPin.
3. On-Device Storage and External Transfer
TodayPin does not operate its own server and does not send todo data stored in the app to a developer-operated server. It also does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs.
However, if you use Apple platform features such as iOS backup, iCloud, or Apple Reminders, storage and synchronization of that data are governed by your Apple account settings and Apple's privacy practices.
4. Apple Reminders Access
Apple Reminders sync is off by default and only runs when the user explicitly enables it in Settings. To use this feature, you must allow Reminders access through iOS.
Through EventKit, TodayPin reads today's and future incomplete items from your default Reminders list, and reflects items added, completed, or deleted in TodayPin back to Apple Reminders.
5. Live Activity and Widget Display
If the user enables Live Activity auto-display, TodayPin may show today's remaining todo count, completion progress, and next todo title on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. If the user sets a Lock Screen message, that message is stored on the device and may appear in the Lock Screen Live Activity. The widget extension displays summary information for the same purpose.
Paid customization entitlement is checked through Apple StoreKit and the App Store account. TodayPin does not send purchase entitlement information to a separate developer-operated server.
6. Retention and Deletion
Information stored in TodayPin remains on the device until the user deletes items in the app or deletes the app. Items created or synced in Apple Reminders can be deleted in the Apple Reminders app or through TodayPin sync.
7. Third-Party Sharing and Processing
Because TodayPin does not collect personal information through a developer-operated server, it does not provide collected personal information to third parties or entrust processing to external vendors.
8. User Rights
You can manage your information at any time in the following ways.
- Add, complete, and delete todos in the app.
- Change TodayPin's Reminders access permission in iOS Settings.
- Turn off Apple Reminders sync and Live Activity auto-display in TodayPin Settings.
- Delete TodayPin data stored on the device by deleting the app.
